Hope is a very powerful word.
One  that we can sometimes take lightly.

As a noun, it can be defined as:
the feeling that what is wanted can be had, or that events will turn out for the best.

As a verb it is defined as:  to believe, desire, or trust that something desired will happen.

If we think about that, to be absent of hope is a tragic circumstance.  We must all cling tightly to hope.....hope that tomorrow our circumstances will get better, hope that God will bring us strength to battle our giants, hope that our finances will improve, hope that someone will reach out and give us a hand when we need it the most.  There are times in each of our lives when we are in need of hope.  There are times in our lives when we can be the ones who give it.

Rescue Hope Foundation is a Missouri non-profit corporation founded in 2009.  It's primary mission is to be a vessel of hope for those in the Madison County and surrounding communities.  It is comprised of caring local residents:  your friends, your relatives, your neighbors.  We exist to allow individuals to reach out and to ask for help.  And we exist to allow other individuals to be that person that lends a helping hand and restores hope in our world.

If you'd like to learn more about what Rescue Hope does in our community, please go to our Contact Us page and send us your information.  We'll keep you informed with our newsletter and you can see all of the good works we are doing in our community.

***  CHRISTMAS UPDATE  ***  Thanks to the generous donations and help from our local community, Rescue Hope was able to provide over 400 toys that will be opened by local children on Christmas morning.  In addition to the toys that we were able to donate to  our local toy program(United Organizations of Madison County) we were also able to provide Christmas for 34 local children who had missed the deadline for the United Organizations toy program.  Rescue Hope was able to meet the needs of those 34 children!  Many thanks to all of those who helped by donating time, toys, or money at local donation canisters.  You all made a difference!!

God Bless you all and
Merry Christmas!
Please remember the reason for the season and take a moment
this year to think about the good things God has placed in our lives
and all that we have to be thankful for!

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the
poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Matthew 19:21
