Our Christmas of Hope Drive 2009 was our biggest fundraising program last year. We assisted the United Organization of Madison County to help bring Christmas to less fortunate children and families in our area. We make a living by what we get,
but we make a life by what we give.

The 2009 Christmas of Hope Toy Drive has been a HUGE success. With the efforts of the local churches, businesses, and individuals we collected over 500 toys !!! After carefully going through the toys to assess which ones were new or gently used, a whopping 370 toys were donated to the United Organization of Madison County. Each of those toys found it's way to a family to be under the Christmas tree of a Madison County home on Christmas morning. The almost 200 remaining toys will be donated to the SEMO Family Violence Council, a local resource and safe haven for victims of domestic abuse.
In addition, Rescue Hope was able to provide Christmas for 34 local children who had missed the
deadline for the United Organization's toy program. Through our community's effort, we were able to
provide Christmas toys for all of those children this year.
Thanks to all those who helped to make this such a huge community success!!
